Fine Arts Network (FAN) was founded in 1994 as a non profit corporation designed as a cultural enrichment program for all facets of our community. Their primary focus at that time was to network those working in the Arts with the youth of our valley to instill and educate in our youth an appreciation for the arts. This was achieved by using professionals as mentors in a day camp/after school program. We no longer run an after school program but we still use professionals as mentors and continue to be dedicated to encouraging and supporting the ARTS. We host, organize and administer, Children's Arts in the Country in May, coordinate 3-6 stage productions annually, hold a Summer Camp Workshop and host the annual, Wine Country Boutique, which is our primary fundraiser. The Fine Arts Network has two production companies and works closely with two others.
TEMECULA PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY (TPAC-FAN Member company): This organization provides training in dance, vocals and stage/acting through quality stage productions and competitive team events. This is an auditioned based program open to all youths, 16 years and younger, who meet the criteria set forth by the directors.
ACTOR'S CONTEMPORARY THEATRE (ACT-FAN Member company): ACT promotes new playwrights to stage their works. It also provides an arena for upcoming directors to direct and produce their first shows. Generally, focusing on contemporary theatrical works, ACT, encourages the growth and involvement in the Arts and encourages young adults to pursue other aspects of theatre through the production process. ACT is open to anyone 17 and older.
TEMECULA VALLEY PLAYERS (TVP-Affiliate): The Players have been in existence for more than 20 years as the pre-eminent community theatre in the Valley. Drawing from the community and providing stage experiences for young and old, Temecula Valley Players has fostered and encouraged the dramatic arts in this Valley since its inception
